How do I get to Batanes?
The only airline currently flying to Batanes is Philippine Airlines, with flights departing from Manila. Fares typically range from ₱12,000–₱24,000, depending on when you book. Occasionally, there are flights from Clark, Pampanga at slightly lower rates. Early booking is highly encouraged!
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are absolutely welcome! Just keep in mind that Batanes is a small, remote province, so access to hospitals and pharmacies may be limited. Please come prepared with your child’s essentials and medications.
What’s the weather like in March?
March in Batanes is usually warm but unpredictable—sunny one moment and breezy the next. We recommend packing light layers, sunscreen, and a hat, just in case!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Kindly send in your RSVP by September 2025. This gives us enough time to finalize accommodations and logistics.
Can I bring a plus one?
If you plan to bring a plus one, please reach out to Kurt or Abegail directly before September 2025. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate additional guests after that.
What are the forms of payment in Batanes?
Gcash and cash are the most reliable forms of payment. Credit cards are rarely accepted, and there are limited ATMs—so bring enough cash just to be safe!
How do we get around the island?
There are no Grab or Uber in Batanes. Transportation is via tricycles, motorcycles, or van rentals, and should be arranged in advance through your chosen accommodation. Coordination is key!
What are the shop and restaurant hours?
Most shops and restaurants open around 10:00 AM and close between 7:00–8:00 PM. Plan your meals and errands accordingly—things move a bit slower here, and that's part of the charm. ☀️

Signal and internet connection in Batanes can be quite limited, and in some areas—such as Chanarian—there may be no signal at all. While certain establishments offer Wi-Fi access for a fee, it's best to manage expectations and prepare for periods with little to no connectivity.
